Tonight we held our first meeting with community members for the removal of our school board president. To this point everything has been rather private, but now, it is going to become very public.We agreed to start circulating a petition to call for a grand jury to remove him from office. It really is our preference that he resign, but since he has publicly stated he won't, it seems there is no other choice.
I am anxious to see what happens from here. It is good to know we are on the right track and there will be closure to this issue at some point.
